Pre Existing library of a wide range of exterior façades and wall systems & window configurations
Our Development and Engineering teams are currently collaborating on creating the largest digital library of High Quality content catalogue of Prefab systems and Windows.
The catalogue would include various panel configurations within a diverse range of architectural styles, from some of our existing projects and our product offerings.
Wall and window systems are Revit compatible
Fully detailed Revit families of façade systems including panels and windows, with realistic Revit rendering materials.
A fully detailed Dextall facade of panels and windows is created directly from your Dextall Studio’s model. Wall and window systems are Revit compatible.
Dextall Studio families are also fully optimized for rendering and visualization purposes; each Revit family comes with real “appearance” materials providing the designers with realistic high detailed visuals of our panel and window systems.

Entire digitalized step-by-step installation manuals incorporated
Dextall is currently producing a fully step-by-step Architectural Design Manual (ADM) for all of our products. This manual will also be powered by Dextall Studio’s web-based platform to provide on-site immediate assistance and training utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) technology, minimizing site construction errors, resulting in Cost & time savings, as well as Waste reduction.
Ability to generate highly detailed Revit Families and 3D sections
Ability to generate fully exploded highly detailed Revit Renderings and 3D sections
Dextall Studio is the only tech construction tool on the market that allows the design of ready-to-built facade models that can integrated with the construction documentation set, submitted for fabrication as well as can serve visualization purposes.
Our tools can generate high detailed levels of 3D renderings for individual panels as well as entire systems/facades. Within each generated view, the designer is able to choose a highly detailed rendering showing each component of the system; including brackets, insulation etc..
Designers are also able to cut sections within the 3D view, as well as explode the drawings into parts, rotate and zoom into each component.
One-click design and cost optimization for entire façade systems resulting in huge reductions in production cost and carbon emissions resulting from transportation
One-click design and cost optimization for entire façade systems resulting in huge reductions in production cost and carbon emissions resulting from transportation
With Dextall Studio’s Optimization Features, you can analyze your Revit model as you work on the design. The earlier you use optimization techniques, the more impact you can have on the overall cost and time savings. Use the optimization tools throughout the design process to refine the building design and make decisions about cost savings, reducing carbon footprint , as well as site Waste reduction.
Dextall Studio’s automated optimization tools, take the following considerations into account; Façade and panel sizes, Building height, Thickness & Cladding depths, panel & window configurations, Architectural style, Materials, Transportation accessibility and waste reduction methods.
Automated generation of BOM for each system, at every design stage
COMING SOON/AVAILABLE VIA REQUEST
Automated generation of BOM for each system, at every design stage
Dextall currently provides our clients with BOM (Bill of Materials) along with all of our additional services provided to architects and GCs that work with us. Our BOM documents are structured lists identifying all materials and components required to construct a product.
The BOM is the most critical communication piece in getting something manufactured, especially for prefab systems. This BOM document is guaranteed a very high level of accuracy due to the automatic generation algorithms that we use when specifying our product parts.
Dextall Studio is incorporating the same technology within a user-friendly web-based interface available for architects and accessible from any device, and as a part of a comprehensive technology infrastructure that provides seamless and direct communication among the architect, GCs, Manufacturing partners.
Other benefits of the automatic generation of BOM from Dextall Studio are:
- Providing estimate costs and minimizing production delays and waste.
- Helps identify the cause of a product failure during construction or Maintenance phase and work quickly to replace the faulty parts, materials and components.
Ability to get cost estimates for each or entire Wall & Window systems
Ability to get cost estimates for each or entire Wall & Window systems
Due to the huge impact of cost estimates in the construction process, one of Dextall Studio’s most important goals is to bridge the gap between the design process and construction feasibility.
We are currently developing a fully robust automated cost estimating tools to provide the architects with >90% accurate cost estimates.
Many factors impact the cost estimation process, which we are considering within our tools, including: type of materials & cladding, labor cost (local rates), complexity of the building, location of site, and existing building & site condition (which is highly accurate due to our accurate LIDAR technology systems incorporated in Dextall Studio).
Empowering the architectural design workflow with fully customized panelization options and style palettes
Empowering the architectural design workflow with fully customized panelization options and style palettes
We understand the value of aesthetics when it comes to designing facades. That’s why we have incorporated a full array of fully customizable options within Dextall Studio. Our user-friendly interface provides controls to customize each of the materials, sizes, thicknesses , architectural style and color palette options for each window and wall/panel system.
All the edits/customizations to the façade systems, are visible within realistic 3D rendered views in real-time reflecting live design updates.
Fully spec based shop drawings for each prefab/unitized system
Coming soon/available via request
Fully spec based shop drawings for each prefab/unitized system
Automatic production of Shop Drawings and pdf templates from Building Information Model in accordance with project standards which are useful for contractors, fabricators, building product manufacturers, and suppliers. This feature is highly effective for the construction of any complex structure. Utilizing Revit as a platform for the generation of fully coordinated shop drawings from BIM that predict possible clashes and resolve them before the execution of the project.
Real time analytical generated metrics based on realistic panel and building data
Real time analytical generated metrics based on realistic panel and building data
Using Revit models with Dextall Studio’s web app, provides designers with the ability to analyze Façade design analytics and Material metrics, such as: the Window/Wall Ratio, Total opaque areas, Total window areas, numbers of panel types. Within the Dashboard, designers will be able to see real-time metrics for individual panels, panel systems, or entire facades.
Dashboard analytics give designers full control over different factors to consider as they create their façade systems.
BIM digital content is developed to the AEC industry standards at various stages of the design process
BIM DIGITAL CONTENT IS DEVELOPED TO THE AEC INDUSTRY STANDARDS AT VARIOUS STAGES OF THE DESIGN PROCESS.
The Level of Development (LOD) is a reference to specify with a high level of clarity the content and reliability of (BIMs) at various stages in the design and construction process. The LOD Specification utilizes the basic LOD definitions developed by the AIA for the AIA G202-2013 Building Information Modeling Protocol. It defines and illustrates characteristics of model elements of different building systems at different Levels of Development. This clear articulation allows model authors to define what their models can be relied on for, and allows downstream users to clearly understand the usability and the limitations of models they are receiving” – as described on BIMForum website.
Within this context, Dextall Studio has built all of its digital content to the highest level of detail, allowing the utilization of Revit’s LOD parameters to control the visibility of various objects within 3 categories (High, Medium, Fine) depending on the visibility settings of each view within Revit.
Utilizing Dextall Studio’s BIM content results in the following benefits:
- To help teams, including owners, to specify BIM deliverables and to get a clear picture of what will be included in a BIM document deliverable
- To help design managers explain to their teams the information and detail that needs to be provided at various points in the design process
- To provide a standard that can be referenced by contracts and BIM execution plans
