NJPAC
The 25-story residential tower, Newark, NJ. Installation speed and ability to enclose the building faster, labor and material cost savings.
Through our unitized prefabricated wall systems and implementation of the latest in design and construction technology, Dextall delivers on the three core principles it was founded on. These include high-quality, resilient, and durable painted exterior aluminum-clad surfaces. Beyond surface aesthetics, the walls are highly insulated, feature high-performance windows, and exceed energy code requirements for thermal performance.
In mid-2025, construction will commence on 350 mixed-income housing units at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark. Phase 1 involves two buildings, one of which is a 25-story, 199-unit tower. Dextall was chosen to clad the tower using a prefabricated unitized aluminum curtain wall system. This system features sustainable, high-performance panels that enable interior installation, eliminating the need for costly exterior equipment such as scaffolding and tower cranes. It speeds up enclosure, allowing earlier interior work, which reduces construction time and costs. Additionally, the unitized approach minimizes debris and labor required for facade installation, streamlining the process.
